Art is a little magic and a little mystery. The watercolor pieces shown are on cold-pressed paper, and most of them are based on photos. I’m a process painter, meaning I take my time and finish whenever I get to that stopping point that all artists sense. It’s organic and subjective. That’s the magic. In 2023 I was moved to start working on canvas…black canvas specifically…dark, brooding, commentaries in acrylic. That’s the mystery. Let’s see where it goes.
